  • CCPA/CPRA

    The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) became law on January 1, 2020 and was the first comprehensive data privacy legislation to be enacted in the U.S. The CCPA introduces requirements for businesses handling personal data for California residents.   • GDPR

  • CAN-SPAM Act

    Do you use email in your business? The CAN-SPAM Act, a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have you stop emailing them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.

  • CASL

    CASL is the Canadian counterpart to CAN-SPAM, and governs “commercial electronic messages”, including SMS, email, and fax messages. Unlike in the U.S., before you contact a Canadian prospect, you must have either explicit or implied consent.
